Abdul Hadi Muhammad Nasib

Abdul Hadi Muhammad Nasib is an international student from Malaysia, a sophomore at Northern Virginia Community College and currently majoring Biology. When he was in high school, he actively participated in variety of communication-related competitions such as debate and public speaking. Gained a recognition from Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), a renown semi-government organization in Malaysia, Abdul Hadi received a scholarship to study in the United States at the age of 18. He had some experience in being a part of an event management team and once became a program coordinator of a fundraising event for refugees. As someone who is aspired to become a biology professor, he seeks to improve himself and becomes better in his English communication skills. He also dreams of starting his own education foundation in the future. Abdul Hadi sees One Day Immersion as a fantastic platform for him to gain more valuable experience and inspiration to become a better representative of his country.

Alyssa Denton
Alyssa Denton

Alyssa Denton is in her second year at Northern Virginia Community College, in the Spring she will be graduating with an AS in Business Administration and a certificate in Social Media Marketing. She currently works as a Social Media Freelancer with Qnary, a social media marketing management firm, and in the past, has worked doing Social Media and Marketing Management for Metropolitan Youth Arts, Beyond the Page Theatre Company and ArtSpire VA. After NOVA, she plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in marketing and work doing Social Media/Digital Marketing. She is so honored to be at ODI and represent NOVA, and a very special thank you to Dolly Wolf and Pace University for organizing and running this amazing program.

Blake Jesse
Blake Jesse

Blake Jesse is a current Senior at Pace University's Lubin School of Business, studying Arts and Entertainment Management. Blake spends most of his time out of the classroom where he is full-time with XXIV, a Los Angeles based production and management company that specializes in live events that convey a message, as the Director of Special Events while also focusing on community engagement and guest experience for lululemon, and athletic and lifestyle brand, in New York City. His background in Public Relations and Social Media Marketing at a young age has enabled him to balance his work, school, and home life while maintaining professionalism and fun throughout. His clients have ranged from celebrity, political, retail, and corporate allotting him a hands-on understanding of how to tailor a business to a specific brand. Blake is currently expanding his footing here in NYC, diving deeper into his passion for Musical Theater and Live Entertainment, as he finishes his Bachelors of Business Admin in this upcoming Spring. He is excited to be a Student Star at Pace's One Day Immersion 2017 and is looking forward to building relationships.

Briana Barone
Briana Barone

Briana Barone is a senior at Pace University, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Arts & Entertainment Management. She aspires to one day work as a Casting Director and serve as a liaison between the economic world and the arts world. She’s been active in several Pace organizations throughout the years such as Economics Society and The Industry Network. Briana has been very blessed to work with two of the leading entertainment companies during her time at Pace. As a sophomore, she interned in the Human Resources department for the Warner Music Group and currently interns as a Talent Agent/ Booking Assistant Intern for Model Management Group (MMG). Briana is eager and excited to take part in the 2017 One day Immersion team.

Brittany Schneider
Brittany Schneider

Brittany Schneider is currently a sophomore at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business. Double majoring Arts and Entertainment Management and Quantitative Business Analysis, she aspires to be an analytic specialist within the music industry and assist on marketing plans. To stay active on campus, Brittany participates in numerous organizations at Pace. Currently, she is the VP of In-House Content for Pace University’s Marketing Association (PUMA) and a Pace PathFinder, as well as a member of The Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management, Advertising Club, and POP TV. Her passion for the music and entertainment industries have landed her internships at Big Beat/Atlantic Records and 300 Entertainment. Brittany is thrilled to be a part of the 2017 One Day Immersion Team.

Cayley Plotkin
Cayley Plotkin

Cayley is currently a junior at Pace University majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in Special Events Marketing. She has become very involved throughout the Pace community as a Peer Leader and as the Secretary of the Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management. Cayley is currently the administrative assistant at KPA Talent Management and Production, New York City's top management agency for multi-ethnic talent. She has also held an internship at Rentquest; a company in NYC specializing in high-end furniture rental for special events. Cayley one day hopes to be the CEO of Disney, work in casting, or she would like to open up a performing arts school specializing in preparing children for the entertainment industry. She is very excited to be a part of the One Day Immersion team for her first time.

Christabel Opoku
Christabel Opoku

Christabel Opoku was born in Ghana and came to the US at the age of 8. At the age of 13 she lost her father, was on her own and considers herself lucky to have ended up in foster care. Christabel is resilient and has faced many challenges with grace. Throughout high school she explored modeling, theatre, volleyball and music. She is also an advocate for foster care on a state level in Virginia. She is finishing her first year at Northern Virginia Community College where she is considering the field of communication. Christabel is grateful to NOVA and to Dolly Wolf Enterprises for bringing her to NYC and to Pace University as an opportunity to more clearly explore her field.

Christine Lanzilotta

Christine Lanzilotta is currently a sophomore at Pace University, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Arts and Entertainment Management. During her first year at Pace, Christine dedicated herself to leadership. Currently, she is an Orientation Leader for the Student Development and Activities Center, a Tour Guide for the Pace University Welcome Center and a Mentor for the Pforzheimer Honors College. In addition, Christine also received her first internship at KPA Multiethnic Talent Management/Production as a Junior Manager. Post-graduation, Christine has hopes to pursue a career in television and is ecstatic to be a member of the 2017 One Day Immersion Team.

Emily Bartholomew
Emily Bartholomew

Emily Bartholomew is a senior at Pace University majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in Special Events Marketing. Currently, she is involved with many organizations at Pace, including WPUB Radio, The Industry Network and Universal Pictures at Pace, as well as working at the Schimmel Theater at Pace. Originally from Philadelphia suburbs, she began booking concerts in high school and has continued working in the music industry. Emily has spent the past year interning at No Big Deal PR, working press and publicity for 300 Entertainment, as well as artists such as The Maine and Aly & Aj. She is an ambassador at Sofar Sounds, providing intimate secret shows throughout Manhattan and across the globe. Emily is also part of a music community called Basement Dwellers, helping to promote local South Brooklyn bands and shows. When she's not at school or work, you can most likely find Emily at a show or writing music of her own!

Gregory Whitman
Gregory Whitman

My name is Gregory Whitman, I was born in Clearwater, Florida. I was a two-sport athlete in high school, being captain for the varsity soccer team for 3 years and place kicker on the varsity football team my Senior year. After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman. I was selected to come to Marine Barracks Washington to be part of the ceremonial and funeral detachment, taking part in high-visibility ceremonies in the Capital region for the President of the United States and multiple foreign heads of state. After my service in our nation’s capital, I received orders to 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Division in Camp Pendleton, California. While with 1/1, I had the opportunity to deploy overseas as a squad leader and gain valuable leadership experience that continues to benefit me today. Serving in the military has helped me earn an opportunity to further my education, which I am beginning as a freshman at Northern Virginia Community College. My major at NOVA is Business Administration and I am going to transfer to George Mason University to complete my degree with a BS in Marketing and minor in Economics. I am excited to attend ODI to gain a better understanding of the corporate workplace and hear first-hand from current executives how the marketing industry operates in today’s market.

Haley Gendell
Haley Gendell

Haley Gendell is currently a sophomore at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business. She is majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management. Originally from Massachusetts, Haley has been interested in the entertainment world from a young age and aspires to someday work in the theatre industry, particularly through a theatre publication, producing company, or marketing team. She is incredibly involved on the Pace University campus where she serves as Treasurer of the Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management, conducts tours as part of the PALS Tour Guide Team, and actively involves herself with the Pforzheimers Honors College. Haley currently interns for the League of Professional Theatre Women as the Press Assistant for the 3rd Annual Gilder/Coigney International Theatre Award ceremony, which will take place on October 23rd. Haley is honored to be a part of the 2017 One Day Immersion team and is looking forward to an awesome day!

Hayden Dabbs
Hayden Dabbs

Hayden Dabbs is a comedy filmmaker and production freelancer studying Film Production and Entertainment Management at Pace University. Hayden is currently a Teaching Assistant within Pace’s Film Department, a film promoter associated with Universal Pictures at Pace, a member of the Dyson Society of Fellows representing the Film Department, and the Vice President of the Pace Film Club. He is also an RA. Outside of the university, Hayden specializes as an Assistant Director and Project Manager for film and video shoots and works with a client base ranging from corporations to talent. He has recent experience as a member of the Tribeca Film Festival screenings department during the 2017 season as well as an independent video production contractor for Zarca Interactive. Hayden aims to continue contributing to the film and television realm, specifically the realm of comedy, as a Director/Producer.

Jake Cameron

Jake Cameron is currently a sophomore at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business, pursuing a double major in Arts & Entertaiment Management and Quantitative Business Analysis. Throughout his year initial year at Pace, Jake became very active in numerous clubs around the school. Currently, he is the Treasurer of the Industry Network for Arts and Entertainment Management and an active member in Universal Pictures of Pace. He also held an ambassador position at the Signature Theatre in New York and a management intern position with The Dare Tactic. Jake hopes to one day pursue a career in television and is very excited to work with the One Day Immersion team.

Julia Coloso
Julia Coloso

Julia Coloso is a Junior at Pace University, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Arts and Entertainment Management. She serves as Panhellenic Delegate for the Eta-Iota Chapter of Kappa Delta at Pace as well as Vice Captain of Pace's Love Your Melon campus crew. This past summer she completed a Music Discovery and Research internship at Create Music Group, a Hollywood, California based company that strives to keep artists independent and focuses on YouTube monetization for its clients. Upon graduation, Julia hopes to pursue a career within the music industry and is both excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the One Day Immersion team.

Lulu Chu
Lulu Chu

Lulu Chu is a junior in the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. An Atlanta native, she grew up surrounded by the world of musical theatre, and is currently an Arts & Entertainment Management Major with a minor in Special Events Marketing. Lulu is involved with several organizations on campus, including serving as the undergraduate Student Body Vice-President, a member of the Queer Society, and a sister of Kappa Delta Sorority. Previously, she has worked as an intern for The Drama League of New York. Aside from her interest in entertainment, Lulu is passionate about politics and hopes to one day pursue a career in media and marketing for political campaigns. She is excited to join the One Day Immersion Team, and thankful for Chris Ramos' advice and leadership.

One Day Immersion Student Star Co-Lead
Nicholas Gordon is currently in his senior year at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business. He is majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management with a minor in Special Events Marketing. As an extremely dedicated individual to his work, Nicholas has been fortunate to work with several different entertainment organizations during his time at Pace U. Some of these organizations include VIACOM, NBCUniversal, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Nickelodeon Live Events, The Ogunquit Playhouse, KMR Talent, PlatinumRye Entertainment and more.

Nicholas is also the Student Coordinator for the Arts and Entertainment Management program at Pace University. This is Nicholas’s third time being apart of the One Day Immersion team and is thrilled to be back, co-leading the Student Stars for the second year in a row.

Being a part of ODI is truly an amazing experience. ODI creator Dolly Wolf truly makes ODI feel like a big family. I would have not found the courage to pursue my goals and climb over my mountains if it hadn’t been for my experience at ODI. The generous executives filled my hunger for the industry. I am fortunate to be a returning student who started at Northern Virginia Community College and am now at George Mason in the video and film department. Thanks to ODI I've had the amazing opportunity to make friends and network with students from different school in the country. I also need to say that Northern Virginia Community College and particularly the Alexandria Campus and Communication Studies there provided these rich opportunities. NOVA is a remarkable place and I am very grateful. “Being a part of a family is like branches that grow on a tree. We all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one.” I’m truly grateful for being part of the ODI family, for Northern Virginia Community College and for George Mason University.

Santino Fernandez
Santino Fernandez

Santino Fernandez is an International Student from the Philippines, studying at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. He is a senior, studying to get a bachelor in Communication with a concentration in Rhetorical and Cultural Studies. In his spare time, he studies and performs comedy at The New Movement Theater, one of the top comedy theaters in Austin. His ambition, enthusiasm, and dedication have been on the scene of ODI, since 2014. Santino has also lent his services at another major industry event, which was the most recent “South by South West Festival” (SXSW), where he was a team member for their Comedy and Film venues.

Serena Rivera
Serena Rivera

My name is Serena Rivera and I am a freshman at Northern Virginia Community College. My major is Communications with a concentration in Political Science and Journalism. I am excited to attend this One-Day Immersion and learn more about media, journalism, public relations and marketing first hand. Hands-on experiences like this help me gain a much broader knowledge top 5% of Sales Associates nationwide. I am active in LGBT advocacy and have discussed these issues with Congressional staff and members of the media. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am deeply grateful to Dolly Wolf, Pace University and the entire NVCC team for making it possible for me to attend this event.

Sydney Meehan
Sydney Meehan

Sydney Meehan is currently a junior at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business, where she is pursuing a double major in Accounting and Arts & Entertainment Management. She is a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College, and serves on the executive board for Honors Council. She participated in the 2017 FIND, Inc. Conference held at Pace University and is currently in the process of publishing a lesson plan on the ReadWriteThink database. This summer she had the opportunity to work as an intern at Evan Bernardin Productions, where she served as a Production Assistant on a variety of NYMF and Off-Broadway shows. Sydney is honored to be a part of the 2017 One Day Immersion team!

Tanner Johnson
Tanner Johnson

Tanner Johnson is a senior at Pace University. He is a Communication Studies major, with double minors in Arts/Entertainment Management and Creative Writing. Tanner is a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College and contributes frequently to both the Honors College newsletter, The Honors Herald, and Pace’s student-run publication, The Pace Press. He also oversees the social media accounts for the Arts and Entertainment Industry Network at Pace. Tanner currently serves as a Pace tour guide and has been interning at Sony Corporation of America. Previously, Tanner has also had the privilege of interning at The Dr. Oz Show and contributing for NBC News affiliate, NBC Asian America. He is looking forward to serving as an ODI Student Star this semester.

Taylor Cannon
Taylor Cannon

Taylor Cannon is a junior at Pace University, majoring in Arts & Entertainment Management with a minor in Criminal Justice. She is currently the Vice President of the Industry Network for Arts & Entertainment and is also involved in other student organizations such as The Criminal Justice Society, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and The Professional Management Fraternity. She has held numerous internships, the most recent being at The Nederlander Producing Company which has led to employment this current semester. Taylor is very ecstatic to be a part of the One Day Immersion team and to meet other students, as well as professionals, who share the same passions as her.

Thomas Schudlich
Thomas Schudlich

Thomas Schudlich is a freshman at the Northern Virginia Community College of Alexandria, Virginia. He is pursuing a general Science A.S. degree to transfer to a four-year university to continue his education in Animal and Poultry Sciences. He is currently planning to become a veterinarian, and is helping his mother out with her Dog Walking business, called Happy Go Pets LLC. He is currently working on finding a job in the veterinarian field and volunteering in animal shelters to help animals in need. Thomas believes that communication is the key to success in any field and is very grateful to ODI for the amazing opportunity to be able to attend such an event. He can’t wait for the chance to put his skills to the test and to gain more experience in successful leader.

Victoria Harris
Victoria Harris

Victoria Harris is a senior at Pace University in the Lubin School of Business. She is double majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management and Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications. Victoria was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a member of the Arts and Entertainment Industry Network, the Pace University Marketing Association, and the Tau Sigma Honor Society. In the past year Victoria has interned with Nickelodeon, BBC Worldwide, and UNICEF. She is very passionate about the entertainment industry and hopes to pursue a career in entertainment marketing. Victoria is also a member of the One Day Immersion Planning Committee and is very excited to be a part of the ODI team!
